Hilary
Walker is an Alien from England, who currently lives in Maryland with her three horses, American husband and semi-Alien son. Writing and riding are her two passions and Hilary competes regularly in eventing and dressage.
Living and traveling in different countries fuelled the ideas for her short stories, and she has written an upcoming novel set in rural England. Horses have provided the material for her non-fiction work. She has won & placed in both British and American national writing competitions, and has written articles for horse magazines.
Her favorite reading includes author biographies, novels by Jane Austen, John Galsworthy and Agatha Christie, plus quite a few authors who are still alive. And, of course, books on horses.
Like most women writers and probably all men, a major goal in Hilary's life is to avoid housework.
