• AbsoluteWriters.com -- This is one of Writers Digest's "101 Best Websites For Writers." It has a ton of tools for writers, details of writing jobs, and much more. As a writer, you can also get a permanent link to your website for $10. It is run by Jenna Glatzer, who also has an excellent free book to download called Book Promotion Ain't For Sissies on her own website.

• OnceWritten.com -- Also one of Writers Digest's choices, this is an excellent website for all authors, whether aspiring, first-time or hard-bitten.
